Is Atlantis worth it?

We just booked our next cruise for December. Thinking about going to Atlantis but it looks a little expensive - also seems kind of Disney Worldish. The rest of my family wants to go there, but I'm looking for more of a Bahamian experience. Anyone have any input/suggestions??

If you're looking for a bahamian Experience, Atlantis is not the way to go.

 

There's plenty to do.

Historic tours, forts and slave museums,

Snorkeling and diving.

Private island

dolphins and sea lions

Hotel day passes (sheraton, hilton)

Kayak tours, glass bottom boats, submarines etc.

My children really enjoyed Atlantis, but I agree that is not a bahamian experience. There are better options. If you want to combine a dolphin swim with Atlantis to keep all members of the party happy, there is a dolphin swim at Atlantis.
