bwlr1985 Posted August 2, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Yellowbird is great fun. Unfortunately it is in dry dock right now - getting ready I am sure for even more party fun.
Cruise Cat Posted August 2, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2009 Unfortuantely, they don't serve you while at the beach. That used to be the draw of the Fiesta Party boat in Coz. I'd pay a bit more for the excursion if they included drinks as I don't like taking a lot of cash with me on these things.

nseagirl Posted August 4, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 4, 2009 I did this one last year and loved it. I'm cruising again in February and planning to do it again. I'm 52, or will be then, and I can't wait!

kjeanne2001 Posted August 5, 2009 #9 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Are there chairs for rent when you get to Blackbeards. Thanks
Kristi Williamson Posted August 5, 2009 #10 Share Posted August 5, 2009 You don't have to rent chairs. They're just there for the taking. :D We had a great time here. We snorkeled with the stingrays and that was really fun, too!
Rosebud5t Posted August 5, 2009 #11 Share Posted August 5, 2009 We were trying to find an excursion to Blackbeard's beach, and this sounds fun! Does anyone know how long the actual time at the beach is or how long the time on the boat is each way?
crsshiplover Posted September 6, 2009 #12 Share Posted September 6, 2009 Does anyone know the likelihood of being able to book this on my own or does it likely sell out through the cruiselines? Is it much cheaper booking directly? Thanks!
Splatt Posted September 9, 2009 #13 Share Posted September 9, 2009 Anyone know how much time the Yellowbird stays on the beach before heading back to the pier?
tropical therapist Posted September 9, 2009 #14 Share Posted September 9, 2009 I called them directly in Nassau yesterday for info. The lady told me to be at the Yellowbird boat by 12:30 as it leaves at 1 p.m. sharp. It returns at 4:00 p.m. You are on the beach for 1 hr. and it cost $30.00 in cash only. They are located as soon as you come off the ship through the main building to the right, just past the water taxi. We are not making reservations or booking through the cruiseline-she did emphasize to be there by 12:30 for a walk-on. It is first come and first served only unless you booked throgh excursions. Mjasp Posted September 12, 2009 #16 Share Posted September 12, 2009 I'm thinking of this excursion thru NCL, for those who have done it, is it for families or a true booze cruise? Also, how long does it take to get there and back?
momoftwins2 Posted September 21, 2009 #17 Share Posted September 21, 2009 I have been on the Yellow Bird Party boat twice before and had an absolute blast. Definately we were feeling quite tipsy after lol But now it makes sense why Carnival wasn't offering it on my Oct 8th 2009 cruise. Thanks to these posts they keep me updated :) Have fun who ever ends up going on it!!!
