Apartments In NYC

We usually try for a B2B with a 4/5 night stay in NYC but are getting a bit fed up of always being there at a holiday time. Trying to plan next year’s trip we find that none of the B2B’s with a stopover are suitable for us. So that leaves us with the option of a W/bound trip followed by a 12 or maybe 14 day stopover while the wee boaty comes back. The prospect of a long hotel stay and the concomitant need to eat out for 12/14 days and nights does not appeal. Does anybody know of an agent for apartment rental for such a short period. Failing some such solution it looks like we will have to fly e/bound. Not something to be anticipated with joy.

Gari: I just googled NYC short term apartment rentals and came up with http://gonyc.about.com/od/hotels/a/apartment_rent.htmhttp://

Looks like there are some good options there. Radio City Apartments comes with daily maid service.

Gari, there is a difference in googling results between UK and US sites--I use yahoo.uk for some of the things that I do online and the results of searches from that are entirely different than when I go back to my homepage which is US.

And you are welcome Garibaldi. ;)

I've usually use Vacation Rentals by Owner for short-term rentals and have been very happy with the wide selection of choices. www.vrbo.com

Since you're going to be there for 2 weeks, you might want to consider one week in NY and the other in Boston or Philadelphia. Both cities are less than 2 hours from NY by train and have a lot to offer.
