Been asked before (sorry), Comfort Suites Nassau

Recommended Posts

We are taking a group of 16 on the 12/24 sailing of Sovereign. I have looked at the price for a room at Comfort Suites and found around $275. I think this is reasonable for the opportunity to spend the day with my kids at Atlantis enjoying the pools, slides, aquarium, Atlantis kids camp etc.

Questions: 1. Has anyone here used this strategy? How did it work for you?

2. One of the draws of Atlantis for me and my husband is the casino. If we don't do the Comfort Suites thing, we'll have to skip it, since we are uncomfortable leaving the kids on the ship at Adventure Ocean. Has anyone used Atlantis' kids camp as a way to drop them off and visit the casino? Are the kids treated "differently" since they are just cruisers and thus not truly guests at Atlantis?

Any insight or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Each room only holds 4 people (translates to 4 wristbands). You would have to get 4 rooms for 16 people.
I have seen on these boards where people have taken advantage of the Atlantis Kids camp.

Thanks for responding! I know each family would have to get their own rooms. Sorry, after reading my message again it did look like I was trying to squeeze 16 people in there!

If anyone has used the Atlantis Day camp, I'd love to hear from them. My girls are 12 and 10. Thanks!

We just got off the sovereign in April and booked a room and comfort suites to go to Atlantis. The only problem we had was it took us an hour to check in at Comfort Suites (they are on island time, i guess). But after that Atlantis was great. Make sure when you go you check in and out at the same time so you do not have to bother going back to check out. Sorry i don't know anything about the kids program though. Hope you decide to do this. Atlantis has so much to do and we had a great time.
