sweetlouise Posted August 3, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 3, 2009 DH and I are traveling with our kids (14 and 16). They will be in their own roomnext to ours, but not adjoining. When we booked we had to put 1 kid with 1 adult. My question is ... beauseour ID card is also our room key, is there a way to get extra room keys? DH and DS are doing some different excursions than DD and I. If we need to get to the room, and DH and DS are officially in the same room, can we either get etra keys ... or when we check in can we say we want DS and DD in one room, and DH and I in the other? We are leaving in 5 hours for the airport (3am !!!). Thanks, simmy :-)
LARGIN Posted August 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 3, 2009 No problem.. When you board go to the Customers Service Desk and tell them what you want to do..
Cruisers from WA Posted August 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Not sure of this, but I think at least ONE occupant of a cabin is suppose to be an adult. (thought I read that somewhere) Each passenger should be issued their own cruise card/room key.
notentirelynormal Posted August 3, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2009 There's no problem. We always asked for a key to my kid's room. We rarely needed it though, because when their room steward saw us coming, they said, "do you need to get in" :D .... but we always had a key to our kids room. ggprincess2004 Posted August 3, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 3, 2009 Booking the kids in the room they are going to occupy should not have been an issue, Princess policy permits this, but you can get the appropriate cruise cards at the purser's desk the next morning. bgbaird Posted August 3, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 3, 2009 On Carnival, we were able to have our kid's room added to our key, but theirs DID NOT work on ours. Cool huh?
