spotgrey Posted August 4, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 4, 2009 We are also on the Millennium and I asked the same question several weeks ago. Apparently Celebrity doesn't do the wine packages that RCCL and others do. We were on Mariner first of year and purchased 5 bottle package that we could select a bottle out of our package (gold) each night. This worked out great but the only thing Celebrity offers (now) is purchasing wines by the bottles from their gifts and gear. (no packages) I think Celebrity is planning on offering the packages but don't know when. HAS ANYONE HEARD WHEN CELEBRITY WILL (OR IF) THEY WILL OFFER PACKAGES? Happy ks Posted August 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 4, 2009 We've done the wine packages on RCI and prefer to just buy a bottle off the regular menu every night. We found the packages to be a little limiting for us. If you don't finish the bottle, they will cork it for you and keep it until the next evening. Some of the wines you can purchase by the glass as well.
wecruiz Posted August 4, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Celebrity has a wide selection of wines in their own "menu" booklet. It will usually be on the table at dinner when you arrive each night. If you do not finish a bottle, thte wine steward will store it for you at no charge for the next night. The wine is not too badly priced, but we have found that it is more expensive than the same label bought at home. (But it is a cruise ship and what isn't!!!)
