Does a laundry cost extra?

just wandering if it costs to use laundry first time on a 2 wk cruise so may be handy to know incase we need it will be on the Azura thanks in advance:)

The self service laundrettes are free but you have to provide the soap. If you want to use the full laundrt/drycleaning, there is a charge.

Yes, I take BOLD washing tabs -they come in 2pks, won't burst like liquid-tabs, or spill like powder and have built-in conditioner. Just take 2 x2pks for emergancies only.

Julie packs the same. We have a small clip-shut tupperware carton that is just big enough to take some washing tablets and a few bounce sheets for the tumble dryer. I have no idea what Julie does with them, all I know is that I pack them :)

Just back from Artemis and tumble driers were very cold and hardly dried at all, although there were on setting intructions so beware.

Capnpugwash, count yourself lucky ... the American tumble dryers can get very hot. I have had several clothes 'scorched' by them and some items that looked like hey had changed from XL to Barbie size (and colour) ... for some reason many of our clothes just do not do well in American tumble dryers.
