dragboy Posted August 4, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 4, 2009 Wanted to take the #112 bus to Eze when we are docked in Monoco. I have read the bus stop is near the Grand Casino in Monte Carlo. Can anyone tell me how far from the ship to this area and the best way to get there?
CorgiGuy Posted August 5, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2009 Hi Dan, Can't help you with an time estimate on walking from the cruise ship dock to the casino, as we had a shuttle take us to the casino. However, I can tell you how we took the 112 to Eze from the casino area. If you walk across the street with the casino directly behind you, you will enter a lovely small park area. This picture is from the park area looking back at the casino: http://www.visitmonaco.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Page.viewPage&pageID=241 Once in the park area, take the path that bears to the left & goes uphill. After a very short walk, the path will bring you in front of the main Tourist Information Center. Cross the street in front of the information center, and you will see a stairway on your left going up to the next street. Take this stairway to the next street up from the info. center. Once you reach the street, the bus stop for the 112 to Eze is just across the street on your left. Make sure you stop in the Info. Center to verify the bus still stops there & also pick up a timetable for the 112. Side note: If you time in Monte Carlo permits, the casino looks wonderful when it is lit up at night. Stay well, Anthony
