Has anyone stayed in this room and what is it like. The lady told me that it has a Hot Tub on the Deck is that true? I cannot seem to find any pictures of it at all.

We where upgraded by the upgrade fair today for what I think was a fair price.

Any input on the likes and dislikes would be great

Pictures would be the best:o

We were in a mini suite but the price changed enough for me to pay the difference to go up to a Penthouse Suite, then today the Fariy called very nice, so what we ended up paying for the A2 Owner Suite is cheap cheap

I am very excited but would love to hear about this room.

I don't know much about this room but from what I see it seems outrageous. Do you know your butler will unpack your suitcases for you. The A2 is the deluxe owner suite too. Lucky you. :-)

Since Brunolvr (Sandy) hasn't jumped in here yet, let me refer you to the excellent photo album in her signature line. The pictures from their cruise to Alaska on the Pearl in 2008 do a great job of showing off the Deluxe Owner's Suite.

There may be some color differences on the carpet, but everything else should be the same.

there is definitely a hot tub for the DOS -- we were in the GV on the Pearl, the Gem is the twin up there, and the hot tub for the DOS is right above the outdoor eating area. their dirty towels ended up in my garden and the noise from the hot tub made conversation impossible.

we also looked up there on our last GEM CTN (we had a courtyard villa for the 2 of us, very nice) and it's basically a very large, luxurious room with some separation for the bedroom and a lovely bathroom. Great views.

if you book it, pls be considerate of the GV passengers below you and collect your towels :)

Do you move to CV or GV from upsell? And if so , how far from sailing? There are a lot of suites available on our sailings and we are booked in an AB but really want courtyard access so don't know if I should just pay the difference or wait for price to drop some.

Any ideas? We have 10 NCl cruises each.

Thanks,

We where booked in a GTY and decided to pay the different to a low end Penthouse Suite for the perks. It was about 3 1/2 weeks from the sailing date that I got the call, it was ramdom.

Key things we are finding out though is you have to book direct from NCL to get the call
