debolinas Posted August 7, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Hello, We will be in Belize in early October. I am trying to decide between the Caye Caulkner and Caye Bannister excursions with Coral Breeze. We will have a 4 y.o. with us. Can anyone recommend one over the other? Thanks, Deborah

Thanks, Deborah Caye Caulker while being a beautiful island and some freindly locals and great food.... is NOT the best for snorkelling and/or minimal beaches for a family w/ a 4 year old in my opinion. You would be better off with the Bannister Beach Break due to a dedicated beach, and shallow waters for the small one to play in.
MamaParrotHead Posted August 8, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 8, 2009 According to Mark from Coral Breeze, Bannister snorkeling is much easier than Caulker, especially for kids. He suggested Bannister over Caulker for us.
