patsicruiser Posted December 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2004 I'm Bermuda bound on the Crown in June 2005. Can't wait. You'll probably think this is silly, but I was wondering how the coffee is on the Crown. My previous cruises were on Celebrity and I swear they put instant coffee in those urns. Nothing like a good cup of coffee sitting on the deck first thing in the morning. I'm tempted to bring my own coffee pot this time. Also, does anyone have a copy of the dailys from their Bermuda trip this year? Anyone else booked for the Bermuda cruise next June? Thanks. hazeleyez3 Posted January 8, 2005 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2005 I'm not a coffee expert; however, although it was good, I am guessing it was instant. I sailed on her in November, and don't happen to have the dailies, but I do remember some of the activities.. Trivia contests Bingo daily lectures (resume writing, hosting a dinner party, etc) 2 karaoke night a not-so-newlywed game a deck party 1 night chocolate buffet -- a MUST (even if you don't eat) Soc hop
patsicruiser Posted January 9, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted January 9, 2005 Thanks Hazeleyes for the info about the Crown. I think I will take my coffee pot. By the way, what would you say was the age range of passengers?
hazeleyez3 Posted January 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2005 Although I would say most were 50+, there was a wide array of ages... There were a lot of young children and teenagers (especially for November), as well as folks in their late 20s and 30s. I am 29 and had treated my parents (both in their 60s) to the trip. All of us were able to find people to chit-chat with.
