My family just disembraked the Norwegian Pearl on the Alaskan itinerary. We are focusing basicly on the ship in this review. Starting with deck six which had the stardust theater and indigos dining room. The best entertainment was sharkbait which was a group of jugglers that were excellent. Also second city comedy was very good. We attended indigos dining room two nights of our cruise. The first night we went there the service was a tad bit slow. The didnt bring out a drink that we ordered. But the food was very good. The second night we went there the service was much better. Next on deck seven was the trade route boutique shops. They had some good deals and specials throughout the cruise. Just your basic souviner shops and jewelry shops. The crystal autrium was also on deck seven and they had a cozy seating area and a giant two story wii screen where they also played movies and had presentations. The java bar was located there as well. The bliss ultra lounge was there also and that was the bowling alley that they had as well as a nightclub and lots of couches. We experienced that you had to wait fairly long for a bowling lane on a sea day. Summer palace dining room is the last thing on deck seven. It was the same food as Indigos but was a little more fancy. Deck eight had the blue lagoon cafe and mambos a specialty tex-mex restaurant with a ten dollar cover charge. Both had slow service but had good food. Deck twelve had the garden cafe which was a buffet. It had a wide selection of delicious food. Next store was La Cucina which was an Italian specialty restaurant with a $15 cover charge. The tahatian pool was also on deck twelve. It had two pools one adult one and four hot tubs two adult ones. The metro teen center and aqua kids club were also on this deck. They provide a wonderful day for your kid/teen. Deck thirteen had the sports court which had basketball, soccer and volleyball. Our family loved this cruise and would recomend it to anyone.
