Travel time from Paihia back to ship?

Hi Everyone,

 

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get back from Paihia to the ship? We are on the Rhapsody in January and want to book a dolphin swim which runs from Paihia, it starts at 12.30pm and finishes at 4.20pm. The ship is due to be tendered at Waitangi Wharf and is due to leave at 6.00pm. Is this enough time? the tour company say to allow an hour to get from the ship to Paihia because of the volume of people all getting off together, does anyone remember what time the last tender was this year?

 

As always, any advice or info is much appreciated
