In St. Martin in Marigot (French Side): Tropicana Restaurant in the Marian Royale. We make it a point to have lunch there whenever we cruise to St. Martin.

 

Take the "bus" (really 12-passenger vans) that run between Phillipsburg and Marigot on a regular basis. One block back from Water Street, look for the bus stops and look for the sign "Marigot" on the dashboard. It cost us $2/each last year.

On the Dutch side we alwayes eat lunch at Le Escargot. If you like snails and it's still there, it's very good. It's on the main street.

Absolutely agree with this one! We were there in April and it was delicious!! It's recommended in travel guide books and by our ferry driver.
