Dave&Robin Posted August 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2009 Hi Does anyone know around what time the sunsets in the Caribbean in February? Trying to plan dining times and don't want to miss the opportunity to enjoy the sunsets from our balcony. You would think after the number of cruises we've taken there I would remember.....but due to dietary restrictions of travelling companions the last few years we had 'Tradition Early' seating and missed all the sunsets :( Thanks Robin
kitty9 Posted August 12, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Generally, they're between 5 and 6pm depending on what time zone you're in.
BillB48 Posted August 12, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Bouncing off the time zone you are in post, sometimes your ship may skew the times a bit by due to the fact they may be observing a time different than the actual time zone they are in. Leaving Florida on Eastern time and then pushing ahead for Atlantic time or pushing back for Central, the ship maybe observing a time an hour off in relation to the time zone it is located. Hope that makes sense, it seemed so simple when I started to type it!;) Anyway somewhere around 6 is a good time!
PennyAgain Posted August 12, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 12, 2009 Frankly early seating means you just don't enjoy a sunset. Had to travel that way when we escorted elder family members on many cruises. Late seating or some form of Anytime dining is your only hope.
