irish_scouter Posted August 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 14, 2009 We are considering a Wraparound cabin on the Destiny and looking for some info. How big, any difference of layouts by deck, what is the lay out and does anyone have some pictures they would like to share. Thanks Irish
DOTTE Posted August 14, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 14, 2009 We had cabin 6373 on the Destiny and cabin 6461 on the Victory. They were identical, down to the same color scheme. These pictures are of cabin and balcony on the Victory. As to size and layout on different decks, I really don't know. You won't be disappointed with the wraparound...it is awesome. gail811 Posted August 14, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 14, 2009 The wraps do vary from ship to ship. A good place to check out your particular cabin is on http://www.cruisedeckplans.com Choose your ship, then go to the EXTRAS tab. They have info on each cabin. Check webshots for pictures; http://www.webshots.com Have a wonderful cruise! Aft wraps are the best!
hill6 Posted August 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 14, 2009 I have an aft balcony on the Destiny in October. I did a lot of research on them. Here is what I found: Deck 8: has a balcony section on the back, angle, and starboard side Deck 7: has the angle and starboard only Deck 8: has back and angle only These are two pictures that I found where you can see some of what I said http://community.webshots.com/photo/fullsize/2502960190098669841uADPFY http://i634.photobucket.com/albums/uu63/lupee13/DSC07074.jpg I picked the ones on deck 8 as it has all three views. Also I know that balconies on the lower decks are more exposed due to the angle that they come down at than the ones that are higher up. Here are also some photos that someone posted of an aft wrap on the Victory which should be very similar since it was only two ships later: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1021295
