tendering and Captain Marvins

Dh and I have reservations for the halfday tour through Captain Marvins. The email I recieved from Captain Marvins states we need to be there by 9:15 am. Since I am not familiar with the carnival tendering process, will we be able to get off the boat in time to make our trip? Also the trip lasts until about 1pm, will we have anytime to look around or should we head straight from our excursion to the ship? Thanks for any advice :D

Capt Marvins has been doing tours longer than most of us have been cruising. He understands that you are tendering. Just get on the earliest tender that you can, and you will be fine.

When we have gone with him, there was some time left for shopping, but not a lot.
