Princess Kids Club - First Night Question

We are on the Emerald in November. Does anyone know what time the kid's club opens on the first evening (sail away)? I know it would normally be open on sea days in the evening from 7pm to 10pm, but I thought I saw somewhere that it doesn't open until 8pm on the first night. We want to make dinner reservations for Crown Grill on the first evening as soon as we board, but I'm not sure if I should make them for 7:30pm or 8:15pm. Would like to feed my son at the buffet and then drop him at the kid's club prior to our "adult" dinner.

You may wish to check, but I don't think there is any structured kids programs on the first night. We were on the Crown Princess last fall, and it was just open for registration and tours.

On the Ruby in April, the first night was just open house and registration. Activities did not start until the following morning. This was for the Pelicans (ages 3-7).

Thanks for the replies. We've only sailed NCL so I must be thinking of their program. We will just be more flexible with our plans the first night!

We were just on the Emerald Princess Aug 4-14. First night was definitely just open house and registration. After that the hours were 7-10pm with afterhours group babysitting available after 10pm.
