blake21 Posted August 20, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 20, 2009 I am sailing on the Glory on 8/29 (E. Caribbean) with my whole family and my 2 36yo DBILs are into the games I see in the arcade photos. They love the Wii and other game consoles, air hockey, ping pong, etc. Are the arcade facilities only available to the teen crowd or can adults go in there too? *Mach* Posted August 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Hummm... excellent question... I've used them several times in the past but I'm not sure I qualify as an adult yet... ;) :D
Nunu Posted August 20, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 20, 2009 If I see that Chris Hansen guy in there I'd stay clear of it.
tracyanns Posted August 20, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Yes, anyone who wants to pay to play can use the arcade. Just be warned, it is expensive. Last time I played a game it was like $1.25 and there can be some pretty rowdy kids in there.
blake21 Posted August 20, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted August 20, 2009 LOL Host Mach, I hear ya!! If there are rowdy kids in there, then my DBILs will fit right in :) (love you DBILs if you are reading :))
kimcruiser Posted August 20, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 20, 2009 My DH the 42 year old, who likes to think he is a kid, sometime goes in the arcade. He likes it and yes there can be a large group of kids and at other times it is empty. I hope you all have FUN on the FUN ship!
jax430 Posted August 20, 2009 #7 Share Posted August 20, 2009 My DH will be glad to hear that he can use it...although I'm not so glad! He plays enough Wii at home!

We were just on the Explorer of the Seas and went into the arcade. We saw teens and adults in there alike. Had a ton of fun as usual, whipping DF's butt in air hockey. So go in and have fun. tea4ular Posted August 21, 2009 #10 Share Posted August 21, 2009 On my NCL cruise last May my H, D & I all made friends with the older kid head camp counselor (our D is 20). There were no kids in the older camp, so no one in their specialized "junior disco". They had a Wii, and I always wanted to try it. The counselor let us in and we "bowled", "boxed", "played tennis" and "played baseball" numerous times. Free. Don't know if Carnival has these games in the general arcade (in which case you pay but it's open to all ages) or part of their camp program. If it's free on the Splendor in Sept. I'm all over the Wii. (that sounds too funny to not laugh)
