sunnydaze Posted August 21, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2009 She is supposed to dock at Suva, Fiji in 1/2 an hour, and all looked good, then this suddenly came on. Wrong date and everything! Lets home it's just a technical problem.

Rare Kinkacruiser Posted August 21, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Gee, it's even rained there in the last hour. Wish some would come here and wet our front lawn. Enjoy the warm weekend. Anna
kcbj Posted August 21, 2009 #5 Share Posted August 21, 2009 Hi, In the last week P&O attached a new system to their webcams. When the signal is lost it displays an image from 1 July. A digital signal stabilizer is often used with video sent via satellite. They show either the last seen image as a still frame until signal returns (you often see this in live sport) or an image selected by the user. It seems that the 1 July image has been selected by P&O. Cheers Clive
Sandielle Posted August 22, 2009 #6 Share Posted August 22, 2009 Princess must use the same. Recently, everytime I 'refreshed' the Princess fleet cams, they all reverted to 1 July, as did the two P & O ship cams. For a minute there, I thought the 'computer pirates' had taken over!!:eek:
