Recent DESTINY CRUISERS>> BAND, COMEDIAN, SHOWS..WHERE DOCK ? ETCS

Hi there...have read some quick Destiny posts, seems you all had a good time

 

I am looking for any "facts" from recent Destiny cruisers

 

how were the shows (what were they?)

 

what about the comedians?? who? good?

 

Piano bar?? who is playing...*(was the smoke really bad?)

 

what about the "Cover band" group...usually "Music" group, the guys who can play anything, the ones I have seen were always from the Philippines and can sound just like any band

 

how was the disco?? what sort of music did they play?? was it crowded>

 

any tips on the food,...."don't miss" items??? items that you were not happy with??

 

if you went to Key West, where did you dock??

 

how was the "tea" on sea day??

 

anything else that might be fun to share??

 

a good drink of the day maybe ?? <grin>

Didn't go to the Las Vegas style shows but heard good reviews on them. I only went to the Welcome Show-hilarious and they showed the love & marriage show and that was also hilarious!!

 

what about the comedians?? who? good? I would recommend the guy that is not named Mark because Mark sucked!!! Sry can't remember the comedians name but OMG he was hilarious!!!

Didn't go to the piano bar...sry doesn't interest me but regarding the smoke to me it depends. In the club & the casino I would try to not be there a lot cuz it was just too much but in the lounges u can't feel it that much.

how was the disco?? what sort of music did they play?? was it crowded> Disco on the Destiny-good music but not crowded....ppl mostly went in there to chill, smoke and drink.

 

any tips on the food,...."don't miss" items??? items that you were not happy with?? Umm...well I did mostly dining room & room service-great food!! Didn't do Lido as much but when we did it was aight food....

a good drink of the day maybe ?? <grin> Well as custom once you get on the ship the DOD is the 1st drink u should get and I would recommend the Twilight Zone from the bars....it got GREAT reviews!! Just be prepared to feel like ur in the twilight :D

so the one comedian was bad?? one good?? do you remember the good one name??

 

I was not sure from your review, did you see the main "show" ?? was it good or ?? I am not usually into magicians but I do like the comedy shows and sometimes the musical show

 

how about the band?? did they have a cover band that plays rock ?? (these are usually called "Music" something or other..and from the Phillipines and they are really good)

 

I saw your info on the Tea..that should be fun. One of the gals I am traveling with is from Scotland orginally...we will look for the Scottish waiter

Umm to be honest the only shows I went to were the Welcome Aboard, the comedians, and that was it. But I did get word that the Las Vegas style shows are good.

 

I will def. see if I can get the name once I get home from work from one of the capers because he's really good!!

 

Sorry can't comment on the band.

 

If u do look for Thomas just keep in mind that he's kind of shy so you will make him blush!! :D

 

I did have my blast and now here I am in the real world working :(....
