Tulum tour - how about lunch?

We will be doing the Tulum excursion through the ship. Since it is an all day tour, what do they do about lunch? Do we need to bring food from the ship?

We've been to Tulum on a land vacation. We think there were some food vendors, but it may have just been snacks.

 

Carnival usually includes a note in Capers that "no food is allowed off the ship" and have garbage cans where you leave the ship to deposit food items. That's not a Carnival rule, it's the port's rule.
