oldIrish Posted August 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Perhaps you can help. I'll be sailing out of Balt. to NE & Canada. I thought I read there was only one formal night, and Country Club casual was no longer in vogue. Not sure if that was another cruise line or not but I would appreciate any comments. How's the price on CC & VO in the duty free store. Thank You
PATCHESPOP Posted August 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Last year there were 2 formal nights, a couple of "smart casual" and the rest casual. Don't know about liquor prices.
gvi Posted August 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 25, 2009 We just returned from this cruise on Saturday. My review is published at: http://www.cruisecritic.com/memberreviews/memberreview.cfm?EntryID=57365. On our 9 night itinerary we had two formal nights, one "Smart Casual" and the rest were just casual. It was a fabulous cruise. Enjoy!
dixieva Posted August 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2009 Even though you might see one or two nights of "smart casual" I didn't see any difference in the way people dressed for just casual. Didn't see any men in sports coats and ties, just nice golf type shirts and slacks. Women in slacks, capris or casual dresses. I think smart casual is a thing of the past.
