JHA65 Posted August 27, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2009 I can not figure out what the difference is between these categories. The cabins and the balconies are the same size. Does anyone know how they are different? JHA

DEIx15x8 Posted August 27, 2009 #3 Share Posted August 27, 2009 They are also differentiated by how many they can sleep; 2, 3, or 4. That is why some are right next to another but different category.
ammcem Posted August 30, 2009 #4 Share Posted August 30, 2009 When I called to get a D4 cabin with a sofabed AND a pullman, I was told that these cabins sleep 5. We just wanted a cabin that both my sons could have their own beds and this (D4) was the only balcony cabin we could afford that did so.

Does anyone know how they are different? JHA I called RCI and asked the same question. It has to do with location, like earlier stated, and also whether it's a connecting room. We are booked in a cat D6 room which is TOWARD the aft, and 2 down is a cat D1 for less money. I decided to book the D6 and survive being 2 cabins further from the middle of the boat. Have a great cruise...
