I've looked at a map and from what I can tell, you could take a cut off road around Frank Sound that will take you directly to the north part of the island.. but, has anyone traveled around the whole island to get to Rum Point? vossjemi Posted December 30, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2004 We did it last Jan. We drove the long way around to get there so we could see the sights. Beautiful! Took about an hour. We took the short cut back to Georgetown, about a half hour! Definitely worth it. You can see some shipwrecks protruding from the water on the east side...I think its called the Wreck of 10 sails.
