SDPadreFan Posted August 28, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2009 This may be forming from the remnants of Invest 93 which crossed over from the Gulf (around Costa Rica) earlier. This area of disturbance is forming slightly southwest of Acapulco and has a small chance of effecting cruise traffic heading towards PV, Maz & Cabo in the next several days. bahamamomma1 Posted August 28, 2009 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2009 oh boy, we leave tomorrow! 5 nights. cabo is our only stop, we are there for 2 days. how do you track this? bonine?
SDPadreFan Posted August 28, 2009 Author #3 Share Posted August 28, 2009 You should be ok. The only problem is that since Cabo is a tender port, if it heads your way, the seas could get to rough to tender in. Here is the current link for this particular storm/depression. Computer models give it a slight chance of heading your way. http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking/ep200994_model.html Here is the main link for the Eastern Pacific. You can watch all the developments here. http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/?index_region=ep Right now, it looks like any issues are at least 3 days away. Hope you have a great cruise.
