Formal wear on princess?

I am looking to take a princess cruise in april and i have no formal wear that fits me so i am on the hunt for formal wear and i found this little black dress that I love but I am not sure if it be good for formal wear.

I am 25 so I want something fun looking.

I wld say that dress wld suit the bill just fine Megan, it's lovely.

I'm not a veteran cruiser but I have been on Princess twice (Alaska & N. Europe/Baltics) and both times the formal wear really ran the gamut, especially on ladies. There were people who wore floor length ballgowns and people who wore evening separates and people who wore cocktail dresses. So I think you should just get something that you feel good in.

Megan - love the dress. I've never been on Princess but think that your dress paired with a fancy metallic shoe would be totally elegant. Enjoy!

I've done two cruises on Princess and I think that dress would be fine for the evening. It's different and fun. Enjoy your cruise! :)
