jax Posted August 29, 2009 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2009 .......favorite dishes that the Cunard line introduced you to? Mine are smoked trout, oxtail soup/broth and Salad Nicoise. I frequently serve smoked trout now but have given up trying to reproduce the delicious oxtail soup and Salad Nicoise that I first had on the QE2. austintatious Posted August 30, 2009 #9 Share Posted August 30, 2009 1. The chocolate layer cake on the desert bar in the Lido (QE2) 2. Rashers of English bacon. 3. The chilled fruit soups for lunch in the Britannia, which they would put in a glass with a straw, making a smoothie, for desert.
