ComputerGeek Posted May 13, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2004 RCI Sovereign of the Seas and Staff did it again - another lovely cruise that is! This was my best Mother's Day yet - three days with my family and being treated like a Queen. Pictures are at the link below. P.S. One of the Staff told me that Sovereign was going into Dry Dock for a face lift in November of 2004 ComputerGeek - the original Monarch 11/2002 Sovereign 8/2003 Explorer 12/2003 - Pictures http://community.webshots.com/album/130813087nZubJz Mother's Day Sovereign Cruise 5/2004 - Pictures http://community.webshots.com/album/142714567mQXAyS
aqusis Posted May 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Glad you had a good time. The news about the face lift has been around for awhile and was confirmed with a press release from RCI over the weekend. Check the news link at the top of the page. They are adding balconies to deck 10 so of course I had to just in and make a reservation for one of them. I made reservation on Monday for next April and pricing wsa still low. The next day, deck 10 (all Junior suites and above) disappeared and prices for other categories were increased by 50-75$ The suite categories popped back in a few days later but the junior suites were $250.00 more than we got. Can't wait to see the changes. ComputerGeek Posted May 13, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Hi Kim, I just found, posted, and asked you questions at your post. That was a pretty nice review you did. We did not spent that much time in the casino, however we really did enjoy the food and the live entertainment.
