Beer Prices on the Ship?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know the prices of beer on RCCL ships?? I drink Corona, but if it's much more expense than domestic beer, I guess I'll have to switch for a week Also, I heard that there are deals on beer in buckets or something like that. Is it really a bargain? And what kind of beer do they usually do this special with?
Thanks for all your help!!!

Ya know...it is funny...many complain about the prices for alcohol on board...but I don't really find much of a difference. You can get a bucket of bear by the pool...and I've heard from others it is a good deal. But we spent a couple days at the Hyatt Pier 66 in Ft. Lauderdale before our last cruise...and let me tell ya...after paying for drinks there...the prices on the ship...looked reallll nice. A mixed drink at the Hyatt was over 8 bucks...and on the ship it is 5 bucks or so...not bad really.

We just got off the Navigator last Saturday.

They do all the beers in buckets. The normal deal was buy 5 get 1 free. They occasionally had coupons in your daily compass that were buy 4 get 1 free.

Corona beers were about $3.50 a piece. The buckets are a good deal - save your coupons.

I really didn't find their normal drinks too expensive. The fruity frozen rum drinks were $5.95 each - those were on the high side. Beer and regular drinks were more reasonable.

I think that the main problem that people face with the drink price is this:

It's not that the drinks are any more expensive than here on land but we all tend to drink so many MORE of them so our total bill for the week is SCARY!!!!

Our bar/cruise bill won't fit under the door the last night, I think they bring it on a 2 wheel dolly. You know then you had fun!!
