Question about Breakaway zipline

Do you have to do the ropes course to do the zipline? I'm not interested in anything but the zip part.

Yes. You have to go through some of the course to get to it.

Is there an extra charge for the Zip Line? I'm a senior in pretty decent shape but wonder how difficult it might be to do the rope course first. Can you check out the rope course before getting on? Also are there a lot of steps to get to entrance to the slide? Do you know if you get banged around going down the slide? I know I need to act my age but I'm fighting it with everything I got. On Breakaway 10/8.

No charge for the course. Yes you can kind of see the routes if you watch others going on it and you can decide if its something for you.

The routes on getaway, which are meant to be identical on breakAway are fairly wide. You can avoid the rope only sections with some ease and go on areas that are 2x4 width or larger. I didn't like the rope rope part myself.
