Halifax, St ohn's - Hurricane Gert- Canada/NE C ruises

After listening to our local weather forecast for update on the Hurrciane as she passes New England way off shore, I was sorry to see there is some chance Atlantic Canada may be in the path and hope it changes course and stays far off shore.

We had heavy wave action and some beaches closed to swimming bec ause of stronrg rip tides. I wonder if the ships are edxperienndcing heavy seas sailing to the Maritimes.

It seems to be moving away from Canada. But the storm's effects can reach much further than the storm's center.

I hope the storm stays far from all occupied land.
