We were in Maui and saw her docked in Kahului, from the road on the way back from seeing the sunrise on Haleakala (9/21/17) and actually saw her in the distance at sunset from the beach at our hotel (Lahaina).  I just looked through my pictures from the top of Haleakala to see if I could see her, but we were jut too high up to make anything out.  Did you take this before dawn or after sunset?  Attached picture is from my phone that morning, so zooming in won't give a clear picture.

Hi there,

I took this shot in the evening after the sunset. That is an amazing shot from the top of Haleakala! Thank you for sharing!

Thank you for sharing yours.  I love seeing pictures of the ships all lit up after dark.  But when I saw the "Aloah & Welcome to Maui", Carnival Legend and "Sept. 2017" and thought "we were there!".  The best I could get was a picture from the road but it's not very good since we were moving.  But from the top of there we could see a lot, but not in detail.  I guess that wasn't Legend we saw that evening sailing into the sunset.  May have been the Norwegian "Pride of America" or RCI's "Radiance of the Seas", saw both while there.  I hope it was an enjoyable cruise.

Hi Holly,

it was an excellent cruise! Sailing across the Pacific was not something I thought I would ever get to do in my lifetime. The onboard activities were fun also. I learned how to hula and play the ukulele with Polynesian teachers! I really should write a review.

Hi Angela,

That does sound like a wonderful cruise!  We were there on a land vacation for 2 weeks (Oahu, Kauai, Maui).  We really enjoyed our trip too and we were taught some hula on a tour we did in Kauai.  Not to arm twist or anything, but if you do a review I'd love to follow along.  I've done a few and they do take time but I also found it was a great way to relive a great cruise.  😊
