Just curious if anyone has been to Nassau in Sept 2022 if masks are still required at any point of getting off the ship. Thanks.

They changed it because the Bahamas is now again requiring tests to enter and most of Virgin goes to the Bahamas. It was announced on the 1st. Guess the Bahamas didn't like the fact that the cruise ships were taking the drawn out situation into their own hands and dropping it so they said, well guess what, if you want to cruise here with unvaxed people, we will now be requiring testing again.
It sucks!! The Bahamas sucks!!! I’m ready to cruise and luckily VV refunded me. I had to get ugly with them because they wanted me to file on my travel insurance that I purchased from them for $100. I told them that IF their rep hadn’t given me the wrong info I would have never booked. I asked if the unvaxed had to test and they told me no and that was the only reason I booked. Oh well. We keep waiting. One day things have to be normal again. This can’t go on forever!!!

Well, they dropped it. I called to book as unvaxed and they confirmed no test required for anyone. Now they are saying unvaxed have to test. I sure hope they will give us our money back because we don’t do the tests, masks, vax or anything else to do with covid.
They did issue a full refund. I should have it back within 10 business days. Unvaxed cruisers still have to test. They are working on updating the website. ☹️ I just thought we were going on a cruise!

I have the Hub app and the only thing I can do pre-cruise is enter the sail date and a profile picture. Once onboard and connected to a ship WiFi, I can then log in and see more.
Question: is there a roll out or feature that I am missing that allows you to see future cruise info? I saw this on a Facebook page and when asked for an official site with more info for tech support because my Hub app doesn’t allow it the response “ I glean info from many sites. May I ask publicly why you feel info shared on this page is not accurate?” And
“.. again I stated it is in rollout stages it might not be available for you yet. Have you ever noticed that Facebook only allows certain people to update certain things?” This seems strange since the Hub app isn't attached to an account per say.
She stated that people have used it for the Fantasy sailings
I am just wondering if anyone has this feature on the Hub app?

We cashed out in the casino on our last cruise (at the advise of guest services on a prior cruise) and the cashier at the casino said our account would be flagged because we were using the slot machines as an ATM. They may be catching on and try to stop this soon. She did let us have the money, but said we couldn't play anymore after that because our account would be flagged and possibly locked, which was fine with us because we don't play to begin with. First I had ever heard of this.

I knew that had been working on this so I was afraid. I don't see French toast or pancakes on the list at least steak and eggs made the cut
Are skillet cakes the same as pancakes?

That is correct. Tapatalk software isn't compatible with the forum software (and has been that way for months).
That’s strange because it was working Oct. 8th. I got notifications and was able to search and read posts.

So TapaTalk no longer works? I used that to get notifications.

no, the full transit is about 10-12 hours
Ok. We are surely only going on a partial. Any idea how long that takes?
-
We just did the partial transit last week. We went through the first set of locks on the Caribbean side, anchored in Gatun lake and came back out. No excursions while in the lake. We only had two hours to anchor so not enough time.

We are about to go on the Miracle for a partial. It says it takes from 7:30 am to 7 pm. Does it really take this long?

I saw someone posted a FunTime on another site and for food it closed at 10:30 and drinks it closed at 1.

I do mine as soon as I book the cruise.

We've zipped several times in Roatan,. using both vendors. Pirates is very fun! And no worries if you don't want to zip as there is a waiting area. And don't be afraid to zip, as you are double-clipped. My 70+ year old parents zip with us when we go!
Several of the zipline companies will also offer a combo zip/beach tour that you can book.

Thanks for the info!

Not sure, they just said it was required they make them as the recipe dictates and could not make substitutions.
That's what they told us too on the Triumph in December. And Alchemy didn't have the Grey Goose XO or whatever it was...go figure.

Cool, thanks!

Private Excursion with Victor Bodden. You can do what you want, we've used them twice and just explained to the guide exactly what we wished to see. He didn't waste time with things we weren't interested in (like the monkeys) but did take us where we wanted to go (snorkeling and good lobster this time, island tour and good lobster last time). Highly recommended both here on CC and on Trip Advisor.
Thanks! I have heard lots of good things about this tour guide too! This may be our best option. Where did you snorkel at?

Are the food and drink prices high there?

We will be porting at Town Center in April for the first time and would like suggestions on things to do. We do not like any animal encounters of any kind.
My husband wants to zipline but I’m afraid to. We are looking at Pirates or Mayan Jungle. Is one better than the other? Is there a waiting area for me to wait? What is there to do at the waiting area?
Any suggestions on an uncrowded beach without venders that has a nice beach bar?
Would we be better off hiring a private tour like Rony’s and asking for suggestions once we meet up?

How does the muster drill work? Do you all have to stand in the sun or one location or is it like the new muster drills?
