Thanks for that link
On NCL's own website the deck plans show the library and card room are now an internet café.
Hi Mark,
Personally I think it's the other way round: the EPIC got an update in October 15 and before that there was the internet cafe where the library and the card room now is been placed. If you read the enhancement review on the NCL page from the 20th of October 2015, they've stated that the library and the card room are brand new. So the NCL deck plans seems to be outdated [emoji6]
Cheers

I'm just glad I'm not the only one who couldn't find it :p
Melissa, if you click on this and select Deck 5 you'll find it on the right hand side between Biscayne B Meeting Room and Click Photo Gallery :-)
Cheers

I've looked at the deck plans several times and still can't find a library.
Maybe I need a holiday (just 45 days til the Epic!)
It's on Deck 5 behind the "Click Photo Gallery".

Hi, can you or anyone find out more info on which Terminal it will be.
Hi, I'm very sure that NCL Epic will depart from Terminal 10, it's written on the FB Site of Port Canaveral (post of 19th of August 2016) where they've stated: "Renovation of the 21-year-old cruise terminal 10 will be finished in time for the November arrival of the Norwegian Epic"
Hope that helps

Captain: Evan Hoyt

Are you 100% sure that Evans Hoyt is still with NCL? I've read that he's now Master at Carnival, please check here.

Hello Miss Rach,
Afaik Guavaberry has a little shop at 8 Voorstraat in Philipsburg, so within easy reach from the dock. Please feel free to look it up http://www.guavaberry.com

Hello,
A quick question which come up recently in our RC group, maybe one of the expierienced St. Thomas fellows is able to answer:
We figured out that at our cruise end of November (on the 30th, to be precise) with the Norwegian EPIC a bunch of other ships are at the same time in St. Thomas: the Eurodam, the Oosterdam, the Oasis of the Seas, the Queen Mary 2 and the Regal Princess. I assume that the Crown Bay Pier can only hold 2 ships at a time, so 4 of the ships would be assigned to Havensight. I'm also pretty sure that we (the Norwegian EPIC) will Dock in Havensight, but I wonder which are the other ships?
Thanks for any guess es

I've looked it up again, the Road Town Pub where I've been couple of years ago is really near by, just around the corner. If you walk from the ship to the end of the pier, you've made already half way. BTW on which EPIC cruise you are going VTgreentraveler? I'll be on Tortola on the 29th of November [emoji2]

Walkable but it's easier to take a taxi. :)
Yes, after 3 Painkiller #3, of course :D

Yes Barney, it could be a Little bit crowded. There are three ships at amost the same time in St. Thomas on 5th of July:
The Norwegian Breakaway & the Norwegian Escape both from 8am to 6pm and later on the Carnival Magic from 11am to 7pm.
You'll find all these useful information at http://m.cruisett.com/p/US_Virgin_Islands/620-Saint_Thomas/July_2016/
Hope that helps

Yes roll with it. Nothing is perfect, but it was darn near it.
Completely agree. It was an almost perfect cruise. Will definetely sail with NCL again. Star is now on their way, keep my fingers crossed that the technical problems has been solved.

Just arrived here in Belize, second stop on our cruise with the wonderful Norwegian Star. I've read all the critics regarding the service and the staff on board but I've made much better ones over the last couple of days. Never met such an helpful and frienly crew before, it's amazing. Joey, Ricardo, Rene, Chadney, just to name a few of them, did an excellent job so far so really nothing to complain. If you're going on a cruise in the near future a very helpful team is waiting for you trying to give all the best you could expect.
Okay let's visit Belize now, ready for the second half of our cruise.

Thanks mousecrazy.. Hope you've had a great cruise [emoji106]

At no point did I see any food served at the BierGarten on the Star during my Oct 19th cruise.
You might be right, I haven't found a single thread regarding food @Bier Garten @Star, "only" on other vessels...:(
-
On my Oct 19th cruise on the Star, for lunch Market Cafe was open 11:30a-3p, Versailles 12pm-2p, OSheehans 12p-4p, and Topsiders 12p-6pm.
So the Bier Garten wasn't open during embarcation?
-
A friend who is on the Star now posted that O'Sheehan's was also open for lunch on the first day.
Yes, you're right Ron, O'Sheehan's will also be open during lunchtime. But I haven't counted O'Sheehan's as a restaurant ;)
Also the Bier Garten will be open, and I've read somewhere that they're offering "Bratwürstchen"...

Does anyone know if the complimentary restaurants are open for (late)lunch on day of departure. Know the Market Cafe' is but just want to relax, wind down from the crazy boarding and watch the world go by.
Hi Jamer,
yes, as I've read somewhere here that "only" the main restaurant (Versailles) will be open beside the Market Café, but I'm pretty sure that no special restaurant or Ginza will be open. I'll have the same issue, I'm booked on the same cruise ;)
Why don't you join our roll call here? A lot of information are shared in this call and also a bunch of happy cruisers will meet during sail off...

I'll do my best, all. Leaving for Tampa tomorrow. But I'll check back again before we board on Sunday. Will be unplugging for most of the week - maybe wifi in port...or not. :o
Hey mousecrazy,
that's a great offer, thanks for that. I'll be sailing short after you on the 22nd of November, so any information is very helpful for me. I would also have an interest of a list (or a couple of names) of good bartenders/servers which has been able to make your day. Also, if you could take some pictures of actual bar menus like 5'o clock Somewhere Bar, The Sugarcane Bar or Bier Garten I would really lilke to see them before I get on board.
Thanks again for you offer, much appreciated.
Cheers Callimero

Following your review. I'll be on the EPIC in 3 1/2 weeks when she will depart from PC into the Eastern Caribbean. So I would be very interested in a photo of the current staff (I think there's a board where all members are listed on), that would be really great!!!
Also some insights (positive impressions of the crew...) or do's and don'ts specific for the EPIC would be fantastic.
Have a wonderful stop at Tenerife on Wednesday and in SAN Juan a couple of days later, I'll definetely will watch your arrival on the 12th of November at 8:00 am via Webcam in Port Canaveral http://www.portcanaveralwebcam.com.
Have a wonderful trip
Cheers Oliver
