Just off Prima- Not the best cruise...

Regarding embarkation in Galveston, What time were the room available? The picture of the rooms show the beds without skirts. Is there room for luggage? We are booked on Jan 18, 24 in one of the corner front facing balconies. Anyone stay in one of those?
