  1. We are booked on the 3/12/22 PR, St Thomas , St Kitts cruise.

Looking for some information from cruisers this year.

We are in a Sky Suite and looking forward to it as the cost at time of booking with a L&S was great.

    • Any mid cruise Laundry Specials?
    • Would you recommend the cost of the Thermal Suite $69 day or $200+ week?
    • How were the ports in regard to crowding, beach, tour etc?
    • Are they testing on debarkation?
    • Any problems with getting a pre cruise test?
    • Restaurants Luminae vs main vs Specialty.

We have cruised on Celebrity in the past and enjoyed it

Have been on NCL, Princess and Carnival.

  2. Considering the Disney Wonder from Galveston this December.

Itinerary consists of  2 sea days, Nassau, Castaway cay, Key West, Sea Day.

    Looking for some input on:

    • Weather in the 3 ports that time of year
    • Weather on the sea days that time of year
      • Galveston to Nassau and back

Are the pools on the Wonder heated during the winter?

    Any help would be appreciated

  3. A few years ago I was on the Jewel for an Alaska cruise out of Seattle.

We were able to check our luggage on board the ship all the way to the airport and onto our flight.for a small fee $20.00(??)

Left luggage in hall night before and picked it up in my arrival airport at home.

I am going on a cruise out of NY

Does anyone know if NCL offers such a service

  4. Wife and I are booked on the Royal M107 for May 21, 2015 Med /Adriatic cruise,

I found quite a lot of positives for these corner cabins. Wanted to know about the bathroom size? shower? Tub? Size?

This cruise goes from Athens to SANTORINI, GREECE, to KOTOR, MONTENEGRO

to MESSINA, ITALY to Naple and finishes in Barcelona. Also 2 sea days. Any comment on this itinerary as it compares to traditional Med itinerary?

    Any help would be appreciated

  5. I would like some information on the Spa Facilities. Not the services. When we were on the NCL Jewel the Spa was broken down into 3 areas. These were the two Male and or Female facilities featuring the steam room, sauna, Thermal water etc. areas. And then the co-ed 2 sets of lounges.

Is this similar on the Reflection

A number of months ago we were on the Carnival Magic and all facilities other than Locker Rooks and Showers were Co-Ed.

My wife and I would prefer the co-ed facilities

  6. We are booked in an Aqua Spa Balcony Eastern Caribbean in November.

    San Juan, Martinique, St. Thomas

We had considered a similar cruise on NCL that went to Nassau instead of San Juan. Is San Juan a decent port of call?

Is this similar on the Getaway.

  9. We are a party of 3 early 60 adults. Husband and wife and wife's sister. We have the following choices all at relatively the same price for the cruise within a few hundred $. Airfare will be different I realize.

We actually have reservations on 5 cruises. One of which probably will not work because of the departure day. I will start with that one.

    1. Celebrity Millennium North Bound Vancouver to Seward. 1 Aqua Class Balcony for 2 and an inside room close by all on deck 11 Starboard Aft. Booked with the drink package and gratuities on the Aqua Class as a free item. This looks like the best of the itineraries and would afford us all some time together and apart. Unfortunately I do not think the departure day will work.

    2. Carnival Miracle Seattle to Seattle in an Ocean Suite for 3. This room appears large enough for 3 adults (any thoughts) and is mid ship on deck 6 Port Side. Itinerary has Tracy Arm for the day and Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. Port times appear OK to short. and the Victoria BC stop (a cruise must for foreign ships) is 4 hours in the evening a total waste it appears.

3.NCL Jewel Seattle to Seattle. Booked in a Mini Suite for 2 and an inside cabin all on deck 11 mid ship Port Side. This goes to the 3 main ports Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan along with Victoria. Decent port times Afternoon in Victoria and it Cruises Sawyer Bay. Was able to get the Mini-Suite extremely low and it appears big enough to add the 3rd person and let the inside room go and save quite a bit. Any thoughts on 3 in the Jewel Mini-Suite? We are new to freestyle dining.

    4. Holland America Zuiderdam - Vancouver to Vancouver On this we have a Signature Suite for 3 on deck 6 mid ship. This includes on a promotion beverage package and some credit. This sailing from Vancouver (higher Airfare) goes through Inside Passage which looks scenic and interesting on the photos and videos I have seen. Ports and other items look similar.

    5. Princess Grand Princess Seattle to Seattle Mini Suite deck 9 (Dolphin) forward port. I am aware of the lack of overhead cover on the balcony and the visibility from above. Some say this is a problem and some say it is nice to have an unobstructed sky view. This has the main ports but only cruises Tracy Arm for about 4 hours. No other glaciers listed.

What I am asking is for some comparisons of the itinerary and the specific ships. I appreciate any help you can provide.

  10. I have bought this for our late December Cruise on the Magic and have some questions on how it works?

    • Do you bring it?
    • How do they know you have it?
    • On embarkation do you just go to the (which line) ??
    • Is your luggage tag marked? As when you check it on the dock how is it set up to deliver fast?
    • Is your room made ready sooner automatically?
    • I understand how it works at ports but what about wnen you are getting off at the disembarkation final port?

  11. We are booked in an even numbered balcony cabin for a New Year's Cruise 2013-14. 12024. From the Deck Plan it appears that there is not a problem with the water slide steps or with people on a deck above. the Serenity is 2 decks above. Is there a problem with onlookers or with noise. Also On The Magic are the balconies on deck 12 covered?
