  1. Just got back on Sunday from a 7 day cruise on Norwegian, we have only ever sailed on Carnival but got a great deal with lots of perks so we tried Norwegian. There were 9 of us. The only good thing was the embarkation (which was extremely smooth and quick). Cabins were small, ship was plain (even though it was only 4 years old), slow service and lines everywhere. I could go on more but I'll leave it at that.

  3. Someone already mentioned magnets for holding notes to the walls, but you can also bring children's magnetic activities (think letters and numbers but also animals, etc.). Granddaughter enjoyed playing with the animals on the walls. I don't know if all the ships have metal walls, but the Breakaway does.

And strong magnetic hooks/clasps will hold caps, scarves, etc.

Small children who are picky eaters: bring something that they like (snack foods, juice boxes, cereal). The selection on board may not be exactly the same as they're accustomed to eating. Introducing new foods is great, but it helps to have a back-up in the cabin if they need a quick snack before bed- one that reminds them of home.

Are you allowed to take juice boxes/pouches on board?

  4. Hello - we will be leaving from New York on the Breakaway. The ship sails at 3:00 p.m. our documents say to arrive at the pier at 12:00.

Do they tell everyone to arrive at 12 or is that our scheduled time to arrive?

    What times does boarding start?

What is the earliest we can arrive?

Thanks in advance for any help - I did look on here and ncl website but was unable to find an answer.

  5. Hello, we are sailing on the Breakaway in a few weeks and are very confused by internet/data/wi-fi. We received 100 free internet minutes with our booking.

What exactly does 100 free minutes mean?

Someone in our group is under the impression that we get free wi-fi and 100 minutes of data? (not even sure what that means)

Is there free wi-fi on the ship?

Is the iconcierge free at all to use on the ship?

We tried finding these answers on here, but had no luck on understanding what is going on, Thanks in advance for any help.

  6. Being a former "very sweet wine only" wine drinker, I think the Moscato would be good for her. A few years ago on a cruise is where I first tried a Moscato because I wanted something sweet. I agree with your mom - white zin is not sweet enough for her. I have now added semi-dry and dry white wines to my liking.
