I have seen plenty of non platinum guest complain and remove tips. You don't have to be platinum to be a complainer!
-
We do the pre paid tips and cash tips. I think it is good policy to cash tip the crew, that goes out of their way. They probably only get a small percentage of the pool of tips. We usually give an extra of $100 to $150 in cash tips per cruise.

The Carnival Pride, has a beautiful chapel. It would be perfect to renew wedding vows!

I have a picture from the Pride, with the balconies open. How do you post pictures?

Why? Did you not like the CD?

More of my Review:
Dining:
We had anytime dining and really enjoyed the flexibility it gave us. We are Platinum, and
Never waited more then 10 minutes. We would have a cocktail with Danny, the bartender.
He was awesome.
The Main Dining Room food I would rate a "B"
Went to David's Supper club on Christmas Eve, it was just okay. We have done
David's Supper Club, before and it was much better previously. I would give them
A "C".
The food on the buffet, was good. Always plenty to choose from.
Guy's Burgers good. I would give them a "B".
Bonsai Sushi was good, I would definitely eat there again. It never was crowded, the whole
Trip.
Room Service, always great on Carnival.
Cabin Stewart did a great job. Anything we needed, she got us.
Cruise Director George was always positive and happy. Loved hearing his voice
All week.
Serenity Deck- we spent port days there, and it was very nice. On, Sea Days
It was crowded and hard to get seats. They only have four hammocks, up there.
The Comedy Club, we went every night they had performances. We loved them all.
We did have a medical emergency, about 3 hours after we left Grand Caymen.
We did turn around and stayed till a little after midnight. I hope all went well
With the passenger. I did not effect our return to Tampa at all.
Please ask any questions, I would love to help!

We boarded around 11:30AM via the Priority line, it took about 20 minutes to board. Our luggage was at our door as soon as we boarded. I will write my review in sections. The ship looked beautiful. I sailed on her in 2002, and The Pride is still one of my favorites. Since this was a Christmas Cruise they did give free Champagne for about two hours during boarding. They did not limit to only one glass. We tipped nicely, and where able to have a few free Glasses of Champagne. The ship was decorated beautifully for the Holidays. They had a Menorah for Chanukah with Latkes served each night of Chanukah. There was a nice Christmas feel on the Ship. Done just right. I did not see any noticeable wear and tear of the non 2.0 areas as some have mentioned. The Ship was very clean and you always saw people cleaning. We loved the Punchliner and went every night, they had shows. We let Carnival choose our room and we got an extended balcony on deck Seven. Ours Sons were right next to us. Carnival opened the balcony divider for us on request and we had a huge balcony. I will post more tomorrow. I will answer any questions you may have.

Just got off the Carnival Pride, and it was the Carnival tervis cup. It's nice.

Yes, they have a big light up Menorah, the have Kosher wine and latkes. The Carnival worker in charge of it, knew nothing about Hanukkah. He asked my husband if, he wanted to lead the prayer. It was very nice. Good job, Carnival!

I did a balcony guarantee and just got assigned an extended balcony for both of our rooms on the Pride deck 7!
-
Booked a balcony guarantee, just got my room assignment today. We got an extended balcony.
-
Going on the Pride for Christmas. Booked a balcony guarantee room, well Carnival picked an extended balcony for both our rooms. Just got the room assignment today. Yeah!

We went on the Breeze Christmas 2013. It was me, 50, hubby 58, Son 26& Son 22. While My children ate grown it was a wonderful cruise. It is definitely a non traditional Christmas, but it was amazing. The cruise director and staff did have a Christmas Eve Ceremony (no official church person) celebration. The ship wad decorated beautifully, for the Holidays. We had such a great time we ate doing another Christmas cruise this year. They have a few Christmas activities.

I actually like the 2.0 changes, where I can choose where I eat. Everyone has the option or not to pay for up charge. Let us be real here. You can walk on a Carnival Cruise the week of Christmas for $599. Of, course they expect everyone to spend more money on the ship. They are a business after all. That is less than $100 a day. I can't even get a hotel room in Orlando for less than that.

I get the best price to board the ship. I have the cash to upgrade on the things I want. For you smart butt answer. I don't purchase pictures!

You are Carnival's favorite type of person. You should buy a picture package too for the memories.

Coffee drinks with Alcohol are included. We had coffee with Baileys using the Chhers program on the Breeze.

I spend a minimum of $1500 for two people on a seven day cruise. That's on the low side!
-
It would cost $301.84 (7 days)

Yes, On the Breeze December 2013 and it was allowed!
A question about the Select drink package for $35
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
It says wine up to $8. I have been looking on some menus and I don't see many wines $8 or under. I have a question for those who have purchased this, is the selection plentiful? Did you feel this package was worth it? I will be sailing on the Oasis of the Seas. Thank you.
