I'd happily share my cabin details with you privately but can't message you. For obvious reasons I'd rather not post the details openly although I can say I was on deck 7.
Thanks

The fridge was never locked, either on the first or last day.
-
I've not changed at all, perhaps I was not clear in my opening post for which I apologise for.
For clarity. I asked for the fridge to be cleared on the first day so I could put water in e fridge plus I knew I wouldn't use any of the items. He left some items in the fridge and put some on the shelves, I thought this was standard practice.
-
100% sure it wasn't me.. Travelling alone too so had to be someone else with access to the Stateroom.
-
The fridge was not completely emptied.. Some times remained and some were put on shelves.. I assumed this was normal practice, despite my request.
-
I looked but he wasn't around to ask and I wanted to sort it out before the inevitable rush on the last evening or last morning.
-
I'm not sure why I'm not making sense.. Yes a drink could have been his but I was billed and $9.50 for something/s I didn't use and have the evidence to back this up. It seemed to me one heck of a coincidence that a drink was left in the fridge and I was billed.
As this was my first cruise I assumed it was usual to leave the drinks from the minibar in the cabin for his ease to put back at the end. I did ask for it to be emptied but he just moved them to the shelves etc.
-
I had put aside a small tip as I had up to that point been pleased with his work and know they work very hard and long hours.
-
The drink was opened was a club soda, I am guessing that the charge related to other drinks too.
I can say 100% that I did not drink or open it, I have never drunk club sodas.
I asked for the fridge to be emptied yes, but he left the drinks on the shelves and some in the fridge and said I had room for my water.
-
I had pre-paid tips so was not necessary to tip extra unless it was for any extras etc.
-
I had asked for the fridge to be emptied as had no intention to drink from it and just wanted to store extra water as I drink a lot of it.
-
Who else could it have been as nobody else had access to the cabin?
The total charge was $9.50 so not a huge sum but it's the principal.
One can had been opened and half-emptied whether drunk or whatever. Sorry if that was not clear in the original post.

I recently throughly enjoyed my first Cruise with Celebrity but the holiday was slightly marred by what happened on the last full day.
On the final evening the Cabin Steward asked if he could turn down the room just as I was heading out, I returned within 30 mins to put some water in the fridge. I noticed a can of drink had been opened and partially drunk/emptied. Is this usual practice to earn a little bit extra? This left a bitter taste in the mouth, which was soon sorted by Customer Services but really was a dishonest thing to do. It also cost him his tip as there was no way he was going to get that after his dishonest behaviour. I wonder if he did this to anyone else?
Is it worth contacting Celebrity direct as apart from apologising and refunding the money there was little else Customer Services could do. But dishonestly should be punished?

OK, thanks. :)

Do you need to pay for these please?
-
But only for $300pp..

Many many cudos to whom ever used the search function and found this thread from Sept 2013, instead of just asking again! Very very impressive.
Thanks. :)

I think it's a nice touch, some of the pics I have seen have been excellent. Especially when you consider how busy these guys are.
-
I am hoping I get some, as some of the creations are wonderful.

I got mine electronically..

I am about to go on my first cruise and thinking about doing a TA next year, I would prefer to stick with X and also the Eclipse. The thought of so many sea days is what attracts me, I went a complete break and to relax to totally switch off. Would probably be a solo traveler too, had only looked at westbound as was looking to travel the later part of the year but no reason why it could not be April 2016 I guess.
-
Thanks, I'd imagine that's the case. Gives me an idea as to when mine will be ready.
-
Got my e docs and able to request luggage tags .
I can now relax and look forward to the cruise !
Cheers

Yes the charge was for the mini bar for the amount I have previously mentioned and have evidence to that affect.
