  1. I just had the same thing happen. I called my PCC, she dropped the price and all of my perks stayed exactly the same. I have double latitude rewards on a 14 night sailing and wanted to be sure I wouldn't lose that because it isn't currently offered on this sailing. She assured me I wouldn't lose it, and sent me a new confirmation with the new price and all promo codes are exactly the same. She said if it goes down again, call her and she'll do it again.
  2. I've looked all over the NCL site for a Martini Bar on the Joy. Am I overlooking it? Just got off the Jade and had the very best Martinis at Mixers Martini and Cocktail Bar, and have been to the same on other NCL ships. Shane at Mixers on the Jade was fantastic, I wish we could have him on the Joy. Specifically, I'm looking for the NCL "Rum Cake Martini" and have not seen it listed on any of the Joy bar menus. Thanks!
  3. So glad to see folks still love the Jade. My first and second NCL cruises were on the Jade in 2010 & 2013 from Barcelona. Will be on her next week! Thanks for posting all of this, just confirms everything I already knew and that I made the right decision.
  4. Were you ever able to get this fixed? Same thing happened to me when trying to book and link ID.me to my friends account. I had closed the NCL window but didn't log out of my account, so when the new window opened, it opened and linked my account. We revoked NCL access from ID.me as we were told to by NCL. Did you have to delete your husband's ID.me account and then reapply to get this fixed. Any help appreciated. NCL hasn't been able to get this done for over a month. No one there seems to know how to get it resolved. There has to be a way.
  5. Looks like there is a gap from April 10th (ends in Barcelona) to April 26th (begins in Rome), according to cruise mapper. So it could be drydock or some type of repairs
  6. I had the same coupon show up with same exp date of Feb 29 2024. I had cancelled a cruise 2 weeks prior. I used it and combined with 10% military discount and cruise next. I called NCL before booking with my TA and they confirmed it could be combined. I'll take 20% off anytime!
  7. Would love your feedback on goport. I'm trying to decide if we should rent a car or get the package deal. Price would be about the same, but don't have the hassle of picking up and dropping off car twice. But, I prefer to get on the ship early and hotel pick ups in Orlando seem to run from 10-12 so won't be on the ship until maybe 1:30'ish.
  8. We've been burned by cancelled flight on Allegiant, so I'd be cautious too. We're flying American to MCO for the same price since our checked bags are free with American Airlines, and AA has 5 more direct flights that day, so confident we'll get there.
  9. If you are all on the same reservation and in the same room, it is my understanding you can complete the check in for them. At time of check in, you will need their passport number and expiration date. You'll select your boarding time too, and also upload a photo of each of you for security. You'll need a recent photo with a plain background, no other people in the photo and you must remove glasses if you wear them. I tried to upload a photo with glasses and it wouldn't accept it. If I recall correctly, you can put an individual credit card for each person. In addition to above, you need contact info for each, along with an emergency contact (someone not traveling with you). I think that's about it. You have plenty of time to check in once they open it up. Your e-docs for boarding will usually be available about 24 hours from time check in is completed, that was my experience last week.
  10. Mid 50's here and always do the slides. Hate the stairs going up, but the ride down is worth it.
  11. From my experience, you'll have to complete the entire check-in if you want to select your embarkation time. It is in the same section where you'll need to upload your photo, either from a file or taken with your device. I've done it both ways. The last three trips, I could not get my address verified when entering on my laptop, but it did work using the app. The embarkation time was not saved until the entire process was completed. You can complete check-in up to 21 days in advance
