Hello fellow cruisers, I'm eagerly anticipating a cruise to Hawaii later this month, with our embarkation scheduled for 12:30 PM on April 25th in Honolulu. Interestingly, the ship remains docked until 6:00 PM the following day. I was wondering if it's possible on embarkation day to check in, drop off our luggage on board, and then leave the ship to explore Honolulu for the day. The idea of spending our first day cooped up on the ship doesn't appeal to me when we could be experiencing Hawaii. As of now, I'm trying to get this information directly from Celebrity Cruises, but I'm stuck in a phone queue with an estimated wait time of 110 minutes according to their automated message. I figured reaching out to the knowledgeable community here might get me answers more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your insights and advice!
