We are trying the Seaside next year also. I really wanted to sail on the Vista, but I got a great price on the Seaside with drinks included, OBC, and several other freebies-can't beat that! Also, MSC will match your Carnival Status, which is a great perk!

I was also pleasantly surprised with the Status Match Program! ::::)

My favorite is the Embassy Suites in Ft Lauderdale-free Happy Hour and free breakfast included.

You will love your Grand Suite! We had one in October on the Carnival Freedom and really enjoyed the extra space, especially in the Bathroom. Also loved the Balcony! Congratulations and enjoy your cruise!

Thanks for a great review! We are sailing the Breeze in October. ALL New cruisers SHOULD research their ship, ports, weather, tips, etc like you did before cruising and hey would pretty much know what to expect.

We stayed at the Doubletree for our cruise in October, and will be staying there again this October. I don't think they require 2 nights, although we did stay 2 nights pre-cruise. We used a shuttle from the airport to the hotel, it wasn't too expensive. Good Luck with your planning!

I forgot to mention that the shuttle was great, it was a very short ride, like 5 minutes. The resortforaday people pick you up directly across the street after coming out of the terminal building.

I haven't been yet, we have it booked for our cruise in 2 weeks. I read plenty of reviews to feel that it was a great idea to book it. I didn't feel comfortable traveling too far away from port without it being a Carnival excursion and I wasn't going to pay the $$ for a Carnival excursion so this seemed like the best thing to do. All of the reviews were great and it is only a 5 minute ride from the port. I can come back in a couple weeks and report back with specifics if you like.

I recently changed Ships and lost my FTTF. They did refund me. Just keep watching for it to become available again on your new cruise date.

I Loved the Lazy River at Rose Hall!

If I was cruising with toddlers or Children of a young age, I would definitely purchase FTTF!! We, as a couple, feel like it is worth the money.

Thanks for your review! We were on the Freedom in October for 7 days, and I really enjoyed the Ship.

The Embassy has a Shuttle that will take you to the port for about $10 PP, I believe. Sign up for it in the Lobby as soon as you arrive at the Hotel!
