  1. I’ve seen them as low as $219' date=' and as high as $294 for my AdventureOTS sailing.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums

For my Anthem cruise in April, they are not selling online, but are quoting $309. I guess $400 Is coming soon.

So which one is actually better the bungalows or the cabanas?

  2. We have varied from $100 to $150 per person, for a seven day cruise.

Prior to my Harmony cruise, I was reading that the going rate was $100 per person for 7 day. We tipped $450 for 2 adults 2 teenagers. The super wealthy will do more.

If this average has changed, let me know for we have a couple of star sailings booked.

  3. I think RC has just priced me out of the suite life. We have been lucky enough to be in both Sky and Star Class cabins including two more in 2018. However, Sky/Star Class are over double the pricing in this latest rollout.

I guess that is why the cabins have not sold out on day one like other rollouts. RC just miscalculated heavily.

  4. Better ask before you go. Here is my story.

We were on Harmony in April as Star Class patrons. One night, my wife was a little queasy and did not want dinner. Myself and my two teenage boys decided to eat "local" at KC. I just was not into pants that night and wore decent shorts. We had eaten at KC on Oasis twice without issue.

However, when our Genie escorted us to KC, the hostess refused to seat us until we changed into pants. I told the Genie we would head down to Johnny Rockets (burger/shakes sounded good at this point). While down at JR, the Asst Head of Restaurants found us there to apologize and that since we are Star Class, that we could dine at KC as we were.

Next morning at KC for breakfast, the Head of Restaurants found us (how? - was my picture on a wall at this point) and apologized again and offered Wonderland (made no sense since specialty dining is included in Star anyhow).

The next morning, our Genie brought the Head Chef of KC over to us. She apologized and said that she would have served us even if we came in naked. She gave us a personally guided tour of the gallies later that afternoon and specially made filet mignon for lunch.

Our Genie was embarrassed greatly over everything and had different gifts in our cabin and a couples mani/pedi for our anniversary. (My first mani or pedi by the way. Not bad. Would do again only on a cruise.)

I had explained my experience on the survey, but never heard from corporate. I would have thought that being refused service at KC as a Star Class would have triggered a follow up.

Moral of the story is to ask before hand.

  5. Hello. Longtime cruisers branching out to Europe for the first time in July. The family has been having a discussion on whether or not everything will be similar or not.

The DW says she is concerned about the teenagers roaming around the ship alone as they normally would because we are not in a majority US crowd.

Let me know your European Epic on-board experiences compared to that of stateside cruises. What will I be surprised to encounter?
