  5. Anybody know what a roll glider track is? Its found on the deck plans of the new Sun Princess
  6. Thanks all. Just seeing responses now. Guess I didn't follow myself🤷‍♀️ I picked march and the countdown has begun. I didn't want to be all hot and sweaty while touring and i dislike crowds for vacation. I will layer up and hope for the best. Thanks for all your input!!
  7. Headed to Italy and Greece in 2024. My dream itinerary is a 10 day in March on my preferred line. Least favorite itinerary is a 9 day in June on another line. Is Rome, Naples and Santorini too cold to tour in March?? Should I compromise in order to have warmer weather?? My preferred line has 7 day cruises in June that are OK but only 4 ports. If I'm flying across the pond I would like to stay for more than 7 days. I'm not looking to sunbathe but would still like to use my balcony. Opinions?? Advice??
  8. I just e mailed Dora and booked with her. Nothing to join.
  9. Thanks! Do you have any experience with this? Good, bad or mixed??
  10. If you are solo and book to sit with others while dining at a set time, are you placed at a mixed table, a couples table or a table of all solos? Just wondering what to expect.
  11. Thanks for all the input. I'm glad I asked. If I'm doing this only once I want to get it right.👍🏻
  12. Help please...I would like to finally plan my bucket list cruise to Italy. With so many options I don't know where to start. I want to do around 10 or 11 days. What cruise line and ship have you done for Italy and what were the pros and cons? If you could change one thing about your cruise, what would it be?? I want to get it right because after this it will be off to Norway and the fjords😬 TIA
  13. Ok, im going to go for it. I am sitting in fixed time at a shared table for most of the cruise. I reserved one nite in each specialty restaurant . I like good food and don't want to miss out because I'm solo. Maybe i will bring a book so I don't accidentally people watch other tables🤷‍♀️
  14. Anybody do solo in specialty dining? Was it weird?
  15. Not cruising until end of February 2023. Please come back and let us know how you liked the tour. Thanks & enjoy your cruise
  16. I will play it by ear. My Bar sounds good too except for the distance. It gets good reviews and is described as being "for young and old" and "lively" Maybe I will drag some fellow cruisers.🎉🍹
  17. Thanks all for the info. The pictures of conch fritters at Rackam look really good. I now have a plan👍🏻
  18. I have been to this port several times. I dont want to stay on the ship, however I really dont want to go too far. Can anybody recommend a nice spot close to port for conch fritters and a cocktail after I do some port shopping?
  19. First solo cruise to Panama Canal in February. Husband would rather golf. Bye bye👋🏼 After this I'm planning on Italy and Greece. I figure I cant wait around. Have to see the world while I am relatively healthy and mobile.
  20. Has anybody in the past year or two been on either? Can you explain which tour you took and offer positive/negative feedback? TIA!
