Are you ever going to venture to another port of departure? I don’t think I’ll sail on the Venezia again. I may do another Florida sailing in the future - hoping for an itinerary that includes celebration key and Key West.

lol - I don’t know who I was kidding - there is NO WAY my stuff would all fit into a carry-on. Having to pack for the Caribbean and NYC after the cruise was more challenging than I thought😳 checked bag it is - pray for me that my bag arrives with me in Newark tomorrow morning. See you all soon!

Not sure about the Venezia but magnets didn’t work on the doors, only the cabin walls on previous ships.

Is anyone in our group decorating their doors? This was meant to be my 8th anniversary cruise with my late spouse, so I had ordered some decorations for our door because we had decided to join in the fun this cruise. Not sure how my first-time cruising Sister will think of my antics but hopefully she won’t be too embarrassed by them! lol. No worries group - there won’t be any upside down pineapples making an appearance on our door!!

I turn platinum on this cruise (currently 5 days shy) but was told when I booked that I’d receive my platinum cruise card, pin and perks on this sailing. I finished my check in today and printed my documents and lo and behold it shows me as platinum. Yahoo, I finally can go in the short check in line!!

We’re flying into Newark in early morning on the 29th, so will have plenty of time to purchase our wine for carry on before heading to the terminal 🍷

Looked it up - sounds like it will be available at the front of the main dining room where you go to be seated: “allergies. Does anyone know whether they have reintroduced the Meet and Greet (or whatever it was called pre-Covid)? I used to enjoy connecting with everyone on the roll call and a chance to connect with the crew. John: I haven’t tried Menu Mate before - I sailed in February and I’ve never seen or encountered it before. We just always relied on the Hub app to peruse the menus. also, I’m super happy that your doc gave you the green light to sail John!
