Yeah I just wonder if they are worth it...but more options..we always do select dining in the mdr so we can go when we want...hmm. May give it a try this time. Thanks

talking my parents on a med cruise next year. We always book concierge class...thinking about aqua since it's only $200 more.unless you do deck 11 which I wouldn't. Are the extras worth it. We've never sailed Millennium only solstice class.. (Also are some of the rooms.bigger than others it looks that way on the deck plan when I look at concierge. Thanks

What about azamara?

JH is discontinuing their cruise benefits which has afforded is to cruise with up to 50% discounts...anyone aware of any other good discount programs? It's a huge bummer losing this. I realize nothing may replace it but any good discount suggestions are welcome.

Nothing.... It was an auto fill on my phones part and I didn't notice it until I posted it. Lol. Most likely I will book concierge class.

I've only sailed on S class before...but we are looking at a cruise next year on the Constellation. The rooms look a bit larger on the deck plans?...we usually do concierge class but also looking at verandah... Can anyone who's sailed give me a little info on the ship, rooms etc? Thanks!

What ship is that?

any suites have 2 bedrooms? Curious if anyone knows. Thanks!

Curious.

Kinda wish they would use the solstice class ships. I will look at the ports, we cruise by we get 50%Off on 8 nights with a vitality discount. Plus we are both young and getting vacation for 3weeks at a time can be hard with work. We like cruising by we can see stuff and then when we are retired go back for longer.... Thanks for the information, will def look at itineraries. I want to see HK, Thailand, and Vietnam the most. Singapore is also intriguing.
-
Ports definitely the preference I was just asking by those are the two shops offered....hubs won’t cruise unless there’s a casino and I heard neither had one but they both do. And yes the itineraries are similar with most.
-
They both have casinos right?
-
Never cruised anything but solstice class, which is a better ship? They both have a casino right? Thanks!

We are flying in 2 days early. Climbing the harbor bridge, having dinner at the opera house at Benelong. I just can't see getting on that early

I'd rather bum around Sydney...room is never ready that early
-
Just got my cruise documents and it has suggested board times based on floor...I never noticed this before with Celebrity. it says 12:30-1:30 for us but the boat doesn't leave until 6:30!?!?! why would I want to get on that early...usually it is 2-3 hrs before leaving.

This is making me nervous for our sailing in December out of Sydney. Taking probiotics now and bringing Clorox wipes and Lysol with me on the ship. Disgusting!

I'm getting a quote. We go through an international travel agency since I have a vitality rider on my life insurance and get a 50% discount on 8 nights. So I'll be able to compare and contrast once I get it back. The flights are quite pricey to Sydney as well so we'll see what wet come up with. Thanks for the feedback.

Obviously I’ve never been to either...can you elaborate on them what makes them worth it? They always seem empty when we’ve cruised...
-
Yes, st. Petersburg a few years ago...cranky old people for two days
-
Usually we book a concierge cabin but we are doing Australia NZ this December and throwing around the idea of a suite. I just don't know if it's worth the extra on a 12 day cruise with 4 sea days. The larger bathroom and room sure does look nice but the room isn't all that much bigger for over double the $. Idk ;p
-
Lol thanks, that is the idea but hard to decide which first. Flights to Australia are crazy expensive right now.

we are contemplating these cruises but haven't picked one yet. We don't know much about the Asian one..especially Taiwan. Has anyone been on these? Thoughts?

yep "scenic" cruising......just sit back and enjoy the views.....
we are doing this in November on Solstice...and even though it is not for very long...although you add it up and then the time from one sound to the next its practically a whole day of scenic cruising..... I am sure this is going to be the biggest highlight of the whole cruise.
cheers
Belinda
We can book our cruise in November, let me know how it goes. I'm struggling btwn this cruise the great barrier reef in March, SE Asia, and South America.
Concierge vs aqua on Millennium

Yeah I know...I do like the priority embarkation and debarkation that comes with concierge and aq... I realize the rest is fluff
