The one I'm looking at (nov 23) is Lima for two days and they offer an excursion where you meet the ship back at the next port of pisco

The GBR cruise on celebrity is in March, isn't this the rainy season and a bad time??
-
I'm confused how these work...looking at the itinerary they are 1 HR maybe 1.5 hrs.....?!
-
I did all the research for 2 of the cruises you mentioned. Not the Barrier Reef We have decided not to take those cruises.
If you will give me about 30 mintues, I will be glad to copy links, here, to all the post that I collected in My Favorites.
Wow, awesome. Thanks

When we cruised Azamara we had thie whole ship for the group we were a part of it was an awards trip and we had a club continent suite with a butler it was my first cruise and it was fabulous to say the least. Our last three have been on celebrity and we always stay in a concierge class room, I'd love to stay in a suite but I can't justify the cost for the little we are in the room. Even though we get 50% off 8 nights with my John Hancock vitality benefits. I am in my late 30s and the hubs is 40 we have no kids and we are usually the younger on the ship which is fine...I'm not much for entertainment I find it cheesy and the hubs gambles in the casino most nights. I a a bit of a foodie and we do like wine I am just looking at my options and SB, Azamara, and Crystal all qualify under the vitality discount outside of celebrity and RC (which I won't sail).
We were booked to go to carnival this February on celebrity but hubs was concerned with safety so we are back to square 1 with vacation next year....
-
We cancelled, my husband was too concerned and it would have affected our trip as he suffers from anxiety. We will go to carnival but just not this year. Me are looking at the canal and South America cruise on the other side. Australia/NZ and SE Asia. I personally wasn't too concerned just knew to be vigilant but I know how wouldn't of had a good time. I'm bummed but looking fwd to the other choices once I choose one.... Lol

Which one? Both look great Australia NZ is on my bucket list we are in our late 30s/40. Thanks.

You have asked about 3 different itineraries. A good place to get information on what the "highs and Lows" were for other would be by reading the reviews for the cruises you are considering.
Yes I have, thought this would be easier than going on a fishing expedition.

I haven't looked up your exact itinerary but we did a sailing from Sydney around NZ ending in Auckland and absolutely loved it. I see you also posted about an Asian cruise as well. We've done that one as well and they're totally different. Loved both.
Asia was a much busier cruise for us compared to a more laid back cruising experience of New Zealand. Asia was much more congested and often long days traveling to see amazing sights wheras when we were in New Zealand it was so peaceful with amazing scenery, great wine and friendly people.
I'm liking the wine part...we love wine and I've always wanted to go to Australia NZ. This one starts in Sydney and ends in Auckland. The Asia one starts in Singapore I believe and ends in HK.

Anyone done it? Did you go to Machu Picchu?
-
Anyone done it, tell me about it. Highs/lows add ons and must dos?
-
Whose done it? What were the highlights/lows?
-
Whose done it what was it like what were the highlights? This is one of 4 cruises we are looking at. Thanks!
-
Says suites but they are not huge so when they say ALL are suites I notice they are about 277sq ft Anywhere they show a room layout? Thanks
-
Only cruised Azamara and celebrity looking at seabourn but the website about is a little cryptic IMO. WHY seabourn are most of the room suites? What's included, what do you have to purchase or pay for? Beverages, food, Internet, excursions?
-
I think they should have this taken away. This summer in the silhouette they had NOTHING in the way of wine, they were constantly out of bottles I asked for even wines in the MDR, IT WAS A JOKE!
-
Just bought that one on amazon
-
Ya i was looking at a small one from Amazon
-
Can we bring them to use in the cabin?
-
I can't remember if there are in the shower? anyone know?
-
Yuck!!!!
-
Embarkation in AMS, we are looking at a direct flight that gets into AMS at 7am...by the time we get through customs/immigration and get bags figure it's 9...what time can we get on the ship in the am?
Also we did the room gty for concierge and did receive a room, can we ask to change it if we don't like it? Never done the gty before
-
I don't think I'd have to go through customs as DUB is not my final destination and my luggage will be transferred to the connecting flight...if anything I'd only have to go through immigration right?
-
Not to mention miles and medallion with delta. Lol
