Maybe you don't have to add a 3rd cabin? If 1 of your current cabins can accommodate 4, move the teens to that cabin once you board and then go to guest services and ask for cards to use those rooms. Then you and your SO can move into the other cabin.

Not exactly the answer to your question but my 20yr old was allowed off the ship by himself in Bimini.

You could do my time dining and schedule around the show times.

Pizza was available in the Park Cafe in the evenings on our April TA.

Our sailing was supposed to be on Vision but last July they changed the ship to Adventure!
Vision is going out of Baltimore.
If the dining prices are as high as the cabanas on CocoCay, I'll be sticking to the MDR! 🙂

Dining is not available on Vision OTS Dec 22 either. I've sailed several holiday cruises and dining was available by now as well.

"I did not go to MDR breakfasts or lunches. I would like to go to MDR lunches to see if the charcuterie is better."
Just off Enchantment TA: I can assure you the charcuterie in the MDR was lack luster at best.

Maybe a little more than what you are looking for, but RCI does have an event group:

I can't help but feel that the title of this thread is clickbait. But - it's not 😉
not clickbait - maybe Royal should have picked a better name? It does have a bit of a risqué sound to it.

thanks to everyone for all the laughs 😜
If I don't get my taster on the ship, I could always just get one from the TSA.

the lady gave me a short sample (1 minute) of each of the kinds of massages they offer. She asked me if I wanted to book but it wasn't a hard sell, I would do it again, This was on Enchantment.
Yes it's on Enchantment. I've never seen it on any of my other cruises.

In the app, I see a spa activity called 'Massage Tasters'; does anyone have experience with this? Is is just a hard sell on booking a full massage?
TIA

Go and register the kids on the first day Adventure Ocean open house. In pastimes, the kids club had lanyards and will punch a hole in their cards so the kids can wear them. Not sure if they still have lanyards as my kids have outgrown the club. If you are on a newer ship, you can buy them WOW bands which would let them into the rooms but I don't think they can be used in the arcade; I believe you have to swipe your card there. And yes - I found out the hard way - that kids can spend way more then they should in the arcade.

Another perk to a GS is having dinner delivered to your room. Could be helpful with a tired 6 yr.

My son turned 18 on a cruise out of Bahamas (18 to drink there). He was kicked out of the teens club so I spoke with the Diamond Concierge and she was able to get my son his full 'adult' benefits. He was allowed to use his Diamond drinks for alcoholic beverages. And before anyone asks, he did not get drunk and act like a jerk; he was just excited to be treated like an adult. 😜

Your daughter will be fine on the smaller ships. I used to have to drag my kids out of Adventure Ocean at night and in the morning they were so excited to go back and play. My boys have a million awards metals from the games the staff ran. Depending on the cruise, we tried to do excursions the kids would enjoy as well - lots of snorkeling in the Caribbean (my boys are both swimmers). We did take the kids to Alaska. They were a little older by then so we did zip-lining and bike riding although 6.5 may be too young for those types of excursions.

Before they killed the Upgrade Fairy, I went from a Balcony room on Anthem to a Grand Suite - over Christmas no less - for no extra charge!
Now you can 'Royal Up'. So, you buy a balcony for $5000, and bid on a Grand suite for $400 where the cost of booking was originally $10000, and if you win the upgrade (now a total of $5800), you "saved" $4200.
So .... how many suites are they actually selling at $20000?

Any idea if teens will get vouchers? My boys like to go to the DL and have a soda and snack because we always book late dinning.

I have 12 and 15 year old boys. They sleep on the pull out couch on Anthem - no problem.

Yes, I meant the Connoisseur Club (aka cigar lounge). We've met some of the most interesting people there and have kept up with each other on Facebook. :D We've had the pleasure of seeing Oleg on two previous cruises and hoped to see him again.

Hello,
Does anyone know who the Attendant in the Connoisseur Club on Explorer is? We were hoping to see Oleg Sandu again.
Thanks for your help!

We just got back from an 8 day on Anthem with 9 and 12 yr old boys. We felt there was plenty for the kids to do. The 9 yr old will be able to go to Adventure Ocean (my son always begged to stay longer). The 12 yr old will be in the teen program (they run some structured activity in the Living Room - though it's mostly a hangout). There is also the seaplex with some table games and the Xbox area which my boys loved to hangout and play with their friends.
The system worked well for us except that 12 yr olds need a parent/guardian present if they want to do any activities like bumper cars or roller skating. This is really only a 'problem' if you allow your 12 yr old to be independent on the cruise and they want to go with their new best friends while you are at a show. (Don't forget to sign your waivers) However, 13 yr olds can do the activities without a parent present.
If you want to do iFly or Flowrider - book time as early as possible. They sold out very quickly.

If worst comes to worst, you can make that drive. We missed a flight out of Philly the day before our cruise out of Miami. We rented a car at the airport and drove straight through. Yes it was a grueling drive - yes we drove much faster than the speed limit - but we made it to the port with plenty of time to spare. If you miss your flight, make sure the airline doesn't cancel your return flight.
Good Luck and enjoy your cruise!
