  1. On Celebrity there was a poolside spot that served burgers/dogs/fries and such from about noon to six every day. Do they have anything like this on Adventure of the Seas, other than getting them at Windjammer or Johnny Rockets? I can't remember from years ago on EOS.

I don't feel like paying extra for a plate of fries...or eating old dried out fries from the WJ buffet.

    Thanks in advance!

  2. I as well would like to know about private tours, and cost?

We interested in seeing birds and nature and that's harder to do with 8+ people...

Anyone done anythiing like this? How wass your experience?

    Thanks!

  3. Awesome! I'm not a beer drinker by nature, but always love to try new things, and they've got a great selection - thanks for posting!

Sorry you had trouble finding food to eat, it must be difficult relying on someone else to tell you what is safe or not...and not really knowing for sure...I'm glad you found some things to like, can't wait to read more!

    3 more sleeps!

  4. LOL - I'm sorry!! I'm trying to go faster! I do promise that we will get further than embarkation day by Saturday! I must say though that the comments are encouraging me to write more :)

I have started to upload the pictures at work so by the time I am home I am ready to go!

I hope that you LOVE your cruise !

Thank you :) I'm so glad to hear it. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment!

Please don't feel you have to apologize, I'm just excited to hear your review of the ship! Thanks so much for taking the time to post your thoughts and pictures! 5 more days!

  5. sashacruiser - are you talking about the BioBay in San Juan? We're sailors and have friends that live on Vieques, it's been discussed in great detail on another travel board. Consider yourself lucky that you were notified ahead of sailing and/or cancelled.

Here are a few of her and others comments:

2/10/14 - I would not recommend the one in Fajardo at this time. It has been dark for a little bit. May be due to the water treatment plant run off.

2/10/14 - We visited the bio bay at Fajardo last week. I was, sadly, underwhelmed by the experience. I can't say I wished we wouldn't have done it but I also can't say I would recommend it to a friend.

We were staying at the Wyndam and it was a 30+ minute trip each way. I would think it would be a hour from San Juan.

If you go, I would recommend an early trip. We were booked for the 9pm trip that didn't leave until 10:15pm, it made for a very long trip.

2/27/14 - Actually there was construction going on in Fajardo and the run off entered the bay and ruined it but it's coming back slowly.

I heard from many people that they were still taking tourist there and they were disappointed and no refunds were given.

  6. Wonder why the OP hasn't come back?

I've called Celebrity 3 times in the past week (once in regards to a booked cruise and twice to book another cruise) and 9 mins was the longest wait time I had. Hopefully she is not still on hold ;)

Maybe PM her to respond? She was online last night while I was reading this post....

  7. You can do a search using google, instead of through cruise critic. Most of the posts that come up from here with related search criteria will be listed under one category.

Just make sure the link you click on is for cruisecritic.com, and bingo presto! there you are!

  8. I am sailing in March and ordered the premium package upgrade for $11.50/day, with the 123GO promo for free.

I was told by my T/A and the rep that anything over the $13 (new pricing) would be charged ONLY the difference in price and ONLY if you had the premium package. If you had the classic package and ordered a $8 drink, you paid $8, not the difference.

    Can anyone confirm this?

Are martinis at the Martini Bar included in the premium package if you order the liquor that is allowed in the package?

I assume that wines in Cellar Masters are not included, and tastings are at an additional charge? Anyone know how much?

Thanks in advance for your help!
